ANCEL BST600 battery tester is designed with convenience and broad functionality in mind. In addition to the printer function, it features a wide capability for the purpose of battery diagnosis and maintenance. It works on 12V and 24V battery systems, includes the actual Cold Cranking Amps test, the health status test, and the diagnosis of both starting and charging systems for common faults. It also has an integrated printer capable of printing out test results for improved service. This tool lets you know the condition of battery system in advance, save a trip and money to an auto repair shop.
- Tests 12V & 24V battery, cranking system, and charging system.
- Test Multiple Battery Types: Regular flooded, AGM flat plate, AGM spiral, Gel and EFB;
- Supports all battery rating systems - CCA, BCI, CA, MCA, JIS, DIN, IEC, EN, SAE, GB.
- Test result: Status of health (SOH), Status of charge (SOC), Measure CCA value, Battery temperature, Voltage, internal resistance, Ripple Test, load test,Data Review,Print Test
- Report. Displays test result in merely seconds, more accurate than the low-priced tester.
- Tests in-vehicle battery and single storage battery.
- Quick starter analysis without disabling the ignition.
- Easy to use and read with large backlight LCD display and menu-driven operation.
Start the engine to make the tester record the lowest voltage in this process automatically. For the 12V system, the standard voltage is 9.6V; for 24V system, the standard voltage is 16V. If the lowest voltage is higher than the 9.6V (for the 24V system, the lowest voltage is over 16V), the system is good. If the lowest voltage is lower than the standard voltage, the system is not good.
For the 12V system, the standard voltage is 12.8V, for the 24V system, the standard voltage is 25.6V. If the lowest voltage is higher than the 12.8V (for the 24V system, the lowest voltage is over 25.6V), the system runs normally. If the lowest voltage is lower than 12.8V (for the 24V system, the lowest voltage is under 25.6V), please check if the engine belt is damaged and the wires are short-circuited.
For the 12V system, the standard maximum voltage is 15V, the standard minimum voltage is 13.3V; for the 24V system, the standard maximum voltage is 30V, the standard minimum voltage is 26.6V. If the current voltage is higher than 15V or 30V, please check the voltage regulator. If the current voltage is lower than 13.3V or 26.6V, please check the connections, wires, and engine.
1. Printer roller problem: is the Thermal paper installed correctly?
When printing, the thermal printer uses the roller to press the thermal paper firmly. If the roller becomes loose, it will cause poor contact between the thermal print head and the thermal paper, and no words can be printed. At this time, you can open the cover, check whether the roller is pressed to the paper surface, and adjust it appropriately.
2. Thermal paper problem
- Paper dust and dirt may cause the printer not to print correctly.
- The thermal paper has expired: You can scratch the thermal paper with your fingernail, and check if there is a black mark. Only on this side can be printed. If there are no scratches on both sides, the thermal paper has expired and cannot be used.
- It is NOT Thermal paper: please check if it is Thermal paper, other paper can not be printed succesfully.
