Featuring a. 9 cubic feet tub that holds up to 6.6 lbs. of laundry, this washer is only for use with cold water. It has a built in lint-filter that does not need to be replaced and only needs to be cleaned approximately once a month. This washer is designed for high efficiency (HE) liquid detergent, (HE) powder detergent or (HE) detergent sheets ONLY. TIMER AND WATER CONTROL The BPWM09W Portable Washing System features a 3 water level choice (high, medium and low). With a gentle cycle the entire time to complete the load is 52 minutes. SAFETY FUNCTION This washing machine unit comes equipped with a shutoff feature designed for protection and safety: If the lid of the washer is opened the washer will automatically shut off. Once it is closed the wash cycle will resume. AUTOMATIC UNBALANCE DETECTION Portable Washing Machines can sometimes vibrate uncontrollably if the laundry inside the stainless steel tub is not distributed equally inside. To remedy this problem, we designed our washers with an automatic unbalance detection mechanism that will adjust the imbalance in the tub and correct this issue by itself. We also included an adjustable front leg further adding stability to this unit.
