    What can I do if I don't have a 5GHz signal?

     

    1. Make sure that your router supports 5GHz.

    2. Check whether the setting "Combine 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WLAN" has been activated in the WLAN settings.

    If this is the case, only the WLAN signal is displayed. Otherwise, both 5GHz and 2.4GHz are displayed, which can be selected manually.

    Is the Internet speed faster if I use a WiFi adapter?

    WiFi adapters are not designed to increase Internet speed. Internet speed depends on the transmission power of your router and your environment.
