1. Please hook up the device to the direct USB port on your computer. If you connect it to a USB hub or extension cords, it may not recognize the drive or read the CD / DVD

2. For the desktops, please connect the blu-ray drive to the USB port of the motherboard for normal use.

3. This blu ray writer/burner could NOT be used in the tablets, like Surface Series (Due to low voltage condition in some tablets).

4. Player software on your computer must support Blu-ray format (e. g. PowerDVD), when playing Blu-ray discs. [Player software is NOT included. ]

5. If our external drive can not play DVD on your windows computer, maybe this is not the fault of external drive. Since the Windows new release have discontinued the internal DVD movie player software, you just need to download another player software(Such as, VLC, GOM, Fast Player for DVD or MPC-HC) to play your DVD movies with our external drive.
