One data Type-c and one auxiliary power supply Type-C, allowing your data transmission more stable. Solid-state drives or large-capacity mechanical hard drives have high power, and some mobile phones or most desktops' front panel with low-power Type-C ports may cause the hard drive to get stuck or disconnected during file transfer. With the 15W auxiliary power supply Type-C, this situation will be greatly reduced.
The fins cover improves heat dissipation by 30% over a regular flat cover and takes into account firm grip. Superior to ordinary hard drive enclosures, the aluminum alloy design is built to withstand fierce shocks. Exquisite and sleek workmanship enhances your equipment level and makes your desktop stand out.
Reasons to Choose DOCKCASE Smart SSD Enclosure
Equipped with supercapacitor and Power Poss Protection (PLP) function.
The 1.54" exclusive screen display is convenient to check the detailed information of the disk in time without worrying about data backup.
One-touch display switching [D-Key & Touch button]
Dual heat dissipation: Aluminum body and VL716 control chip design to ensure high-speed transmission and stable performance.
USB 3.2 gen 2 port supports and utilizes the maximum transfer speed of 10Gbps (theoretical value) to achieve high-speed transfer.
Compatible with SATA I II III, HDD&SSD.
8TB SSD and 5TB HDD can be installed. (currently not suitable for Samsung 8TB QVO hard drive)
Upgradable firmware can be continuously optimized to improve the stability of working.
Equipped with 2in1 cable: USB-C to USB-C/A data cable, let you get rid of the embarrassment of limited interfaces.
The enclosure of DOCKCASE can maintain the optimum performance and take full advantage of SSD by the high-speed transfer protocols UASP and TRIM.
Integrated design of aluminum alloy and tempered glass, sleek, durable and convenient.
5 Seconds PLP Prevents Write Data Loss
Abnormal power failure will greatly increase the probability of SSD failure. The fault may cause the loss of the stored files, and the serious case may cause the loss of the disk partition or disk damage. The Power Loss Protection of DOCKCASE Smart SSD Enclosure provides around 5 seconds of writing time after a power failure (the actual time will be affected by the working state and power consumption of the SSD), no data loss, and no disk damage.
The longer the Power Loss Protection time, the more data can be rescued. PLP is the all-important mechanism to protect data during power outages. The larger capacitor can provide longer PLP for hard drives, it ensures data in the cache is written to the hard drive during a power failure, which is critical to improving SSD and HDD reliability.
The Health Status Display of Hard Disk
The smart screen can display Power Loss Protection in real time, different panel information allows you to know the real-time working status very well, and the newly added 3 touch keys deliver a more convenient, quicker and time-saving working experience.
Even if you don't have a computer, you can connect it to a charger to check information such as SSD model, capacity, number of partitions, etc. So you can power on it at any time to check the disk's health status to avoid data loss due to data not being transferred in time when the drive is running out of life.
Dual Type-C port, More Powerful
One data Type-C and one auxiliary power supply Type-C, dual Type-C ports design provides your daily use a seamless connection.
Solid-state drives or large-capacity mechanical hard drives have high power, and some mobile phones and most desktops' front panel with low power Type-C port may cause the hard drive to get stuck or disconnected during file transfer. With the 15W auxiliary power supply Type-C, this situation will be greatly reduced. When connecting high-power devices such as mobile hard disks, it may not be recognized due to insufficient power supply during file transfer. With the 15W auxiliary power supply Type-C, you can transfer, collaborate and share seamlessly.

Dresentation
Loosen the screw and open the back cover
After installing a 7mm HDD and a 9/12mm HDD in this HDD case, attach the inner pad near the USB port on the back cover.
Insert the HDD (Align the SATA port position)
Since the HDD is heavy, please put a buffer block on the left side of the purple capacitor of this product so that the connection between the HDD and the motherboard will not be disconnected due to external impact
After installing the 7mm HDD, stack two inner pads and paste them on the back cover
Tighten the screws on the back cover
