10 Seconds PLP Prevents Write Data Loss
Abnormal power failure will greatly increase the probability of SSD failure. The Power Loss Protection of DOCKCASE Smart SSD Enclosure provides around 10 seconds of writing time after a power failure (the actual time will be affected by the working state and power consumption of the SSD), no data loss, and no disk damage.
The longer the Power Loss Protection time, the more data can be rescued. PLP is the all-important mechanism to protect data during power outages. The larger capacitor can provide longer PLP for hard drives, it ensures data in the cache is written to the hard drive during a power failure, which is critical to improving SSD and HDD reliability.

Loosen the screw and open the back cover
After installing a 7mm HDD and a 9/12mm HDD in this HDD case, attach the inner pad near the USB port on the back cover.
Insert the HDD (Align the SATA port position)
Since the HDD is heavy, please put a buffer block on the left side of the purple capacitor of this product so that the connection between the HDD and the motherboard will not be disconnected due to external impact
After installing the 7mm HDD, stack two inner pads and paste them on the back cover
Tighten the screws on the back cover
