The camera housing features an IPX4 rating to make sure water doesn't affect the camera's operation. The camera features a built-in mic and a speaker, and also includes a USB mic adapter to connect an external mic with a 3.5mm plug.

The LCD screen allows you to configure camera settings such as video resolution, exposure, and ISO, and view your battery and record status. The camera is charged via a mini-USB port, and using a separately available mini-USB adapter, you can output your photos or video via A/V or . There is an internal 1500mAh battery pre-installed, and a 500mAh removable external battery is included to extend your battery life. You can choose to install an optional 1500mAh battery for a total of 3000mAh and up to 8 hours of battery life.
