Unpack toner. Lightly shake toner to evenly distribute thetoner inside the cartridge and remove protective cover from the toner.
Unpack drum and remove the PULL paper from the drum.
Put the toner firmly into the drum unit. If installed correctly, the green lock lever on the drum unit will lift automatically.
Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by gently sliding the tab from left to right and back several times. Then make sure you return the tab to its home position. If not, printed pages may have a vertical stripe.
Install the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly into the printer & reset the drum counter. When you replace the drum unit with a new one, you are required to reset the drum counter. Please follow instructions provided with the drum unit to reset the counter.
