Press the front cover release button and open the front cover. Hold the green handle of the drum unit.Lift the drum unit up and then pull it out until it stops. Hold the handle of the toner cartridge and pull it out of the drum unit. To keep good print quality, pull out all 4 toner cartridges and cleanall 4 corona wires (described in the next step) even if only replacing one of the toner.
To clean the corona wire on the drum unit, once all 4 toner has been pulled out of drum unit, pushto release the latches of the white corona wire cover and then open the cover. Clean the corona wire by gently sliding the greentab from left to right and right to left several times. To avoid poor print quality, make sure to return the tab to its home position.
Unpack new toner. Lightly shake new toner to evenly distribute the toner inside the cartridge. Then remove the protective cap.
Hold the handle of the toner cartridge and slide the toner cartridgeinto the drum unit. Make sure that you match the toner cartridge color to the same color label on the drum unit, and make sure that you fold down the toner cartridge handle once the toner cartridge is in place.Repeat this for all the toner cartridges.
