The Cable Matters USB-C Docking Station with 80W Power Delivery provides all the necessary ports to connect a thin Windows laptop with a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. It provides instant connectivity to two DisplayPort monitors, a wired Ethernet network, one USB-C device, two SD cards, three USB 3.0 devices, and two USB 2.0 devices such as a keyboard or mouse.
4K or HD Dynamic Bandwidth Configuration Switch
A 4K or HD switch on the Docking Station offers a choice between connecting dual 4K@30Hz displays with USB 2.0 and dual 1080p@60Hz displays with USB 3.0. Switch to the HD or 4K mode for your desktop requirements.
Important Notes
- Compatible with Windows 10 and Linux. macOS only supports a single display and is not recommended.
- Dual monitor compatibility must be supported by the host computer
- Notebook charging is limited to 80W (some computers require more)
- Gigabit Ethernet and UHS-II card reader speed will be limited to 480Mbps when switched to 4K mode.
