ID TECH UniMag II
A magnetic stripe reader (MSR) engineered for mobile transaction, the UniMag II communicates with mobile devices via headphone jack and works with both Android and iOS platforms. You can use it to read a variety of magnetic strips—including credit cards, signature debit cards, gift cards, and loyalty cards. Using ID TECH's proven MagStripe reading technology, the UniMag II reads up to two tracks of information in a single swipe in either direction. When reading card data the UniMag II encrypts the information before it enters the mobile device, providing protection of sensitive data. A slighter, longer 3.5mm audio plug allows better compatibility with phones encompassed in cases.
The UniMag II allows merchants to provide their customers with another acceptable method of payment, and with the capability to swipe credit cards, merchants can save money by avoiding costly card-not-present fees. The convenient solution allows merchants to quickly accept credit card payments wherever they go.
